It’s been decided. Each person who can speak clearly in our home came to the table with a name tonight and we voted. At first Rhett refused to participate and only listen. Will went first presenting his sports ensemble of names ‘hoopster,’ ‘baller’ and ‘zoomer’. Cole proposed ‘Zigger,’ ‘Zagger’ and ‘Red Greener.’ I proposed ‘Dash’ and ‘Ralphie’ quite proudly and Daddo grabbed from thin air last minute ‘Fred’ and ‘Boomer’ (his childhood dog). So we again offered Rhett a chance to participate (CL was already in bed) and he started to grin then quickly and quietly stated ‘Peanut.’ We all said ‘Oh Rhett that’s perfect!’ His face lit up with a look of happiness and surprise; his family genuinely got excited about his idea. The three year old came up with the most popular name and for ONCE he was the winner of the decision-making process in his outnumbered crew of six.
