Every year since 2013 I have made sure to capture a photo of our four kiddos during the 7 days that their ages are stacked. It looks as if we planned all of our children’s births just perfectly (didn’t). We have the buddy system going on with the oldest two spaced out 19 months. Followed by an exact four years and 7 day gap and then our youngest two separated by 22 months. So for one week, after Cora has had her birthday in May, and then Cole has his birthday June 19, I snag a picture of all four before Rhett has his birthday on the 26th. At first I did it just because I thought their ages were coolly spaced out for that week, now it’s definitely a tradition so I can see how they all change each year. I love it. Each year it gets harder and harder to get them all together in the same place. This year’s picture I had to force them out of the pool as the sun was setting on the eve before Rhett’s birthday. They were annoyed with Momma’s picture project as they are each year, but I got it and it’s just as cute as the first one five years ago.
