Our little t-ball team, the Raiders, had their end-of-season ‘party’ last night and celebrated at the East Texas Pumpjacks game in Kilgore. They participated in the Field of Dreams. Our boys were paired up with a Pumpjack and got to run out on the field with their player to their position and stand during the National Anthem. As you can imagine, it was a magical moment for our boys.
Here is Cole paired up with his Left fielder. As always, Cole never meets a stranger….. they look like they’ve been friends for years.
Here is Will paired up with the Pumpjacks Pitcher. Will was a little bit nervous, but was all smiles. I know he has dreams of being in this guy’s shoes some day.
All our boys had a wonderful time and behaved so great at the game and during the Field of Dreams. They were all so cute when they ran out on the field with their Pumpjack… they even had their names announced along with their player!

Ready to meet their Pumpjacks! These boys had a great time and we appreciate the Pumpjacks for taking the time to really make these boys feel special…. and to make them feel a little closer to their dreams of playing baseball on the big field!
After the boys ran off the field, they went up in the stands and all sat next to “Coach Grump”!
